Steps to a complete visualization system

Requirements & Process Analysis

We begin by defining what operators, maintenance personnel and production teams need from the visualization system. Process information, control functions, alarms, trends, user levels, reports and communication interfaces are reviewed before development starts

HMI & SCADA Architecture

The visualization architecture is defined according to the size and requirements of the application. Screen hierarchy, navigation, tag structure, communication, alarm philosophy, historical data and user management are organized to create a system that remains maintainable as the project develops

Visualization Development

Operator screens are developed around the actual machine or process rather than only graphical appearance. Equipment status, controls, setpoints, sequences, diagnostics and process values are presented clearly so operators can understand the state of the system and react efficiently

Alarms, Trends & Data Management

Alarm handling, historical trends and process data are configured according to operational requirements. This can include alarm priorities, acknowledgment logic, data logging, production trends, reporting and long-term storage of relevant process information

PLC Integration and Testing

The HMI or SCADA application is connected to the PLC and other required systems using appropriate industrial communication protocols. Tags, commands, alarms, status information and communication behavior are tested together with the control application before and during commissioning

Commissioning and Handover

The visualization is verified with the actual equipment during commissioning and adjusted according to real operating conditions. Navigation, graphics, alarms and controls are fine-tuned, remaining issues are resolved, and the final project is prepared for reliable production use

HMI Programming

Operator interfaces are developed for efficient machine operation, diagnostics and maintenance. Applications can include operating screens, parameter adjustment, recipes, manual controls, alarm handling, user access and service functions.

Typical scope:
Operator screens · Machine controls · Setpoints · Recipes · Diagnostics · User management · Alarm handling

SCADA Programming

SCADA systems provide centralized monitoring and control for larger machines, production systems and process installations. Solutions can include multiple PLC connections, historical data, alarms, trends, reporting and integration with external systems.

Typical scope:
Process visualization · Data logging · Historical trends · Alarm management · Reporting · Multi-PLC systems · OPC UA

Existing HMI & SCADA Systems

Existing applications can be extended, modified or modernized without requiring development of a completely new system. Support can include additional equipment, new screens, alarm improvements, communication changes, troubleshooting and visualization redesign.

Typical scope:
Software modifications · System extensions · Troubleshooting · Screen redesign · Migration support · New equipment integration
